Job summary

ms consultants, inc. in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support water and wastewater projects across the region in a hybrid role (Pittsburgh, PA; Indianapolis, IN; Akron, OH).

You will design electrical systems for critical infrastructure, coordinate with in-house disciplines, and prepare distribution plans using AutoCAD and Revit. A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with PE license preferred or attainable within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
• PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit; familiarity with power distribution and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan production for water/wastewater facilities using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Coordinate design elements with in-house disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental, site civil, landscape).
• Define equipment, layout, and protection requirements for distribution stations per codes and standards.
• Interpret customer requirements and develop distribution station plans and specs.
• Collaborate on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, and instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical calculations for power distribution, lighting, controls, and fire alarm systems.
