Job summary

ms consultants, inc. seeks an Electrical Engineer to support water and wastewater infrastructure projects with a hybrid work setup.

You’ll design electrical systems and distribution layouts, collaborate with multiple disciplines, and ensure code-compliant solutions for critical facilities across the region. The role emphasizes hands-on AutoCAD/Revit design, power distribution, and fire alarm systems, with potential for PE licensure within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit design software.
• Familiar with ICC, NEC, NFPA, LEED building standards.
• PE license preferred or obtainable within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Plan electrical design for water/wastewater facilities using AutoCAD/Revit.
• Coordinate with in-house disciplines (architecture, structures, environmental, civil, landscape).
• Define equipment/layout/protection per industry codes for distribution stations.
• Interpret customer requirements to develop station plans and specs.
• Collaborate on system layout, SCADA controls, automation, instrumentation.
• Prepare electrical calculations for distribution, lighting, controls, and fire alarms.
