Job summary

UCC Environmental in Libertyville, IL, is seeking a District Engineer to lead water management and wastewater treatment initiatives, shaping sales plans and coordinating with R&D and field teams.

The role demands 10–15 years in water management or wastewater engineering within power, mining, and heavy industry, plus a BS in engineering and strong CRM/leadership skills. Significant travel and a commitment to core values are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required; postgraduate degree preferred.
• 10–15 years water management/WWT experience in heavy industrial settings.
• 10 years in sales/procurement/contracting in Power, Mining, Heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual sales strategies for Water Management and WWT sales; meet targets.
• Direct territory for water sales initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance (CCR/ELG/NPDES).
• Collaborate with R&D and contract systems engineering on sizing, components, and best practices.
• Lead training, customer relationships, proposals, and post-bid negotiations for systems sales.
