Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks Water/Wastewater Engineering Interns for our Holmdel, NJ office this Summer 2027. You will gain hands-on experience designing municipal water systems, reviewing drawings, and supporting permitting with regulators.

Training on AutoCAD and collaboration with experienced engineers will help you grow technical and professional skills in a real project environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil or Environmental Engineering degrees, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related program.

Responsibilities

• Assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.
• Read and review project drawings and plans.
• Use AutoCAD to design water and wastewater systems, pumps, and pipelines.
• Observe project sites and evaluate contractor work for design issues.
• Perform hydraulic modelling and prepare design calculations and reports.
• Support environmental permitting and regulatory coordination.
