American Engineering, a growing multidisciplinary firm with over 50 years of experience, seeks a Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Chesapeake team. Qualifications

• 3+ years of water/wastewater design experience.
• EIT/FE required or in progress; PE path strongly supported.

Responsibilities

• Design and support water distribution and sanitary sewer systems.
• Assist with pump station design and hydraulic calculations.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on project delivery.
• Support permitting and coordination with local/state agencies.
• Contribute to municipal and land development projects.
