Job summary

SEH is seeking a Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater to join our Water/Wastewater team in Virginia. You will assist with planning, design, permitting, and construction support for municipal water and wastewater facilities, distribution systems, and related infrastructure, working with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams.

You'll develop engineering solutions, prepare deliverables, participate in field investigations, and advance toward PE licensure while contributing to projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 2+ years of experience in water, wastewater, municipal infrastructure, or related engineering field.
• EIT with progress toward PE licensure.
• Experience supporting planning, design, or construction of water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of critical water/wastewater infrastructure projects for municipal, utility, and public-sector clients in Virginia.
• Contribute to planning, design, permitting, and construction support of facilities, networks, pumps, and other utility infrastructure.
• Develop practical engineering solutions, prepare technical deliverables, participate in field investigations, and progress toward PE licensure.
