Qualifications

• 3+ years of water/wastewater design experience.
• EIT/FE required or in progress; PE path strongly supported.

Responsibilities

• Design and support water distribution and sanitary sewer systems.
• Assist with pump station design and hydraulic calculations.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on project delivery.
• Support permitting and coordination with local/state agencies.
• Contribute to municipal and land development projects.

About the Role

American Engineering is seeking a Water / Wastewater Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, including water distribution systems, sanitary sewer design, and pump stations.

Responsibilities

• Design and support water distribution and sanitary sewer systems
• Assist with pump station design and hydraulic calculations
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports

• Contribute to a variety of municipal and land development projects

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
