Job summary

McKim & Creed's Water/Wastewater team in High Point is seeking an Engineering Designer to support water infrastructure projects under supervision. You will contribute to design tasks, perform calculations, and help prepare drawings and bid packages.

In this role you will coordinate with the Project Manager and design team, ensuring work meets schedule and budget while staying current with relevant Local, State, and Federal design standards.

Qualifications

• Process-oriented individual with strong organization and technical skills.
• Solid communicator with the ability to take directives from PM and coordinate with the design team.
• Strong writing and verbal skills.
• Able to work flexibly to accommodate varying PM demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and design services for water infrastructure projects under supervision.
• Prepare design computations, drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and design team to complete work efficiently.
• Stay current with Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations.
