Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. in High Point, NC is seeking an Engineering Designer, Water/Wastewater to join our team.

You will provide technical and design services for water infrastructure projects under supervision of project engineers and managers, contributing to drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering, can manage tasks within schedule and budget, and collaborate closely with the design team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Process-oriented with strong organization and technical skills
• Able to complete work consistently with moderate flexibility
• Requires a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and design services for water infrastructure projects under supervision of project engineers and managers
• Conducts technical evaluations projects
• Prepares design computations and assessments
• Produces design/construction drawings, technical specifications, and bid documents
• Reports to Project Manager and ensures tasks meet budget and schedule
• Stays current with Local, State & Federal Design Standards and Regulations
