Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer for water infrastructure projects in Kansas. The role involves supporting field investigations, performing design calculations, and assisting in the design of water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited BS in Civil/Environmental/WRE, have an EIT, and up to 4 years of relevant experience. Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Bentley tools, WaterCAD/SewerCAD/StormCAD, and GIS is a plus.

Qualifications

BS Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resource Engineering from an EAC/ABET-accredited college or university
EIT Certification (FE)
0-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in construction plan production, design calculations, and/or technical writing
Knowledge of Autodesk design platforms, such as AutoCAD and Civil3D, is a plus
Knowledge of Bentley design platforms, such as Microstation and InRoads, is a plus
Experience with WaterCAD, SewerCAD, StormCAD, and USACE HEC programs is a plus
GIS working experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Support field investigations and assessments
Perform design engineering calculations
Assist in designing water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
Provide data collection, analysis, and reporting
Prepare project reports under supervision
Support water-related projects including drainage/flood control, dams and levees, potable water infrastructure, and sanitary/wastewater infrastructure services
