Job summary

Garver is seeking a Project Engineer in Wichita, KS to join our Kansas Water team. The role will involve engineering calculations and detailed design for water distribution and transmission pipelines, pumping and storage, as well as sewer systems and treatment facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a civil/environmental engineering degree (ABET), 3+ years of related design experience, and EI eligibility within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, environmental or similar engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 3+ years of experience related to design of water/wastewater systems.
• Registered as an Engineer Intern (EI) or able to obtain in the next 6 months

Responsibilities

• Engineering calculations and detailed design for water distribution and transmission pipelines, pumping and storage.
• Design of sewer collection systems including pumping and lift stations.
• Work on water and wastewater treatment plants and improvements/retrofits of facilities

Education

Bachelor's degree in civil, biological, environmental or similar engineering from an ABET accredited program
