Job summary

Remington & Vernick Engineers seeks a Water/Wastewater Senior Engineering Technician with 2–5 years of experience, preferably with an EIT certificate. You will plan, design, and analyze water and wastewater projects including mains, pumping stations, and treatment facilities, while collaborating in a team.

Responsibilities include hydraulic calculations, report preparation, and providing support to the inspection team.

Qualifications

• EIT preferred while working towards PE.
• Ability to clearly express thoughts verbally and in written reports/specifications.
• Shows effort, pride in work, and willingness to ask for guidance to expedite deliverables.
• Capable of handling multiple assignments with on-time delivery and within budgets.
• Excellent communication, management, and writing skills are required.
• Proficient with Word/Excel; AutoCAD capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic calculations and layout of structures.
• Prepare reports and biddable documents for water/wastewater systems.
• Provide engineering support to the inspection department.
• Handle multiple assignments concurrently while meeting budgets.
• Identify problems proactively and provide detailed analyses and resolutions.
• Assist in producing regulatory permitting applications.
