Job summary

Remington & Vernick Engineers is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Engineering Technician in New Jersey. The role requires 2 to 5 years of experience and an EIT certificate (preferred).

You will plan, design and analyze water and wastewater projects including water mains, sanitary mains, pumping stations, and treatment facilities, working in a collaborative team. The position emphasizes strong writing, ability to produce reports and stay within budgets, and offers a path toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in Civil/Mechanical/Structural/Chemical Engineering.
• EIT preferred while working towards PE.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform hydraulic calculations and layout of structures.
• Prepare reports and biddable documents for water distribution and wastewater systems.
• Provide engineering support to the inspection department.
• Manage multiple assignments on time and within budget.
• Identify problems with detailed analysis and provide resolutions.
• Prepare regulatory permitting applications.
