Job summary

The Encompass Group, a design-build infrastructure contractor, seeks a hands-on Superintendent to oversee field operations for water storage tank and wastewater treatment projects. You will lead daily on-site activities, coordinate trades, ensure safety, and drive projects to meet schedule and quality goals.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in heavy civil construction, strong knowledge of concrete, piping, mechanical, and electrical work, and the ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience.
• Experience with water/wastewater infrastructure or heavy civil projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, mechanical, piping, electrical work and safety practices.
• Must have OSHA awareness and site safety leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily field activities on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and workforce to maintain schedules.
• Enforce safety standards and conduct site safety meetings.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure proper execution.
• Interface with clients, inspectors, and project management.
• Maintain documentation including reports and logs.
• Assist with startup, testing, and commissioning as needed.
