Job summary

August Building Company seeks a seasoned Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on water and wastewater construction projects in Maricopa County. You will supervise on-site activities, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure work meets safety, budget, and design standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial/industrial construction, strong leadership, and proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in Commercial/Industrial construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and local building codes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Experience overseeing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Project software; OSHA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations as a Building Subcontractor on Water/Wastewater projects.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring safety, budget and schedule adherence.
• Direct subcontractors and laborers to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Review plans, submittals, and schedules to address delays or issues.
