Job summary

Pape-Dawson Engineers is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing schedule, budget, quality, and safety while coordinating with contractors and clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 6 years of construction management experience; CCM certification is strongly preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6 years of progressive construction management experience.
• CCM certification strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated capability leading project teams and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of project controls, documentation, and construction administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality for on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead project administration activities: RFIs, submittals, change management, pay apps, closeout docs.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, agencies, and internal disciplines to resolve issues and maintain progress.
• Maintain and review project documentation and reporting to track progress, compliance, and risks.
• Promote job site safety and oversee environmental compliance requirements.
• Lead and mentor project staff and coordinate workload.
• Facilitate startup/commissioning activities and coordination with supporting teams.
