Job summary

Wilson Engineers, a respected Arizona-based firm, seeks a Construction Manager for its Las Vegas, NV office to oversee owner–contractor relations, project scope, budgets, schedules, and field inspections.

Applicants should have 4–8 years in construction, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills; PE is preferred. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• P.E. registration preferred.
• 4–8 years of construction industry experience; CM/Field Engineer/Inspector roles may apply.
• Knowledge of construction means & methods; water/wastewater construction a plus.
• Proactive and self‑motivated; able to meet challenging time constraints.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with MS Project and P6 Scheduling a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between Owner, Contractor, and project team; foster relationships and communication.
• Review plans, specs, and contract documents to understand scope and objectives.
• Lead construction progress meetings and owner meetings; document key decisions.
• Prepare and distribute detailed meeting minutes; maintain project records.
• Interpret contracts and advise Owner on compliance and execution.
• Manage budgets by reviewing Schedule of Values and payment applications.
• Evaluate schedules and risks; propose mitigations to Owner and Contractor.
• Review cost proposals and change orders; provide objective recommendations.
• Perform field inspections to verify conformance with plans and codes; document with photos.
• Coordinate with materials testing firms and verify material quality.
• Manage closeout activities and final documentation.
