Job summary

Wilson Engineers, a respected engineering consulting firm with fast-growing Las Vegas offices, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Water/Wastewater team in Las Vegas, NV. You will develop designs, manage multiple tasks, and coordinate with CAD designers and subconsultants to deliver high-quality infrastructure projects.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and an EIT; PE is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years engineering experience.
• EIT certification required; PE licensure preferred or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs and technical documents for water and wastewater projects.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting quality, schedule, and budget expectations.
• Coordinate with CAD designers, engineers, subconsultants, and project team members.
• Review calculations, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and O&M manuals.
• Conduct site visits to verify conditions and coordinate with clients and operations staff.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, figures, and permit applications.
