Job summary

TYLin’s Indianapolis team is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee Lead Service Line Replacement and related water and wastewater distribution/underground projects. The role requires 8–10+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction or consulting and a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.

You will support the Project Manager, coordinate with inspectors, and serve as an Owner’s representative to ensure designs, permits, and safety standards are met, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management/engineering with construction related field experience or equivalent in field experience.
• 8–10+ years of experience in water/wastewater consulting or construction for municipal, state, or private clients.
• Experience using GSP equipment.
• Client-focused with integrity and a collaborative mindset to achieve technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in project management and contract administration.
• Coordinate with inspectors for field reviews, data collection and QA/QC.
• Observe, inspect, and document underground utility construction as an Owner’s representative.
• Ensure compliance with design plans, specifications, and permit requirements.
• Document contractor progress, maintain quantity records, process payment requests, generate punch lists, and certify completion status.
• Create and track work orders for each project.
