Job summary

Jobtailor invites an experienced Civil Engineering professional to oversee municipal water and wastewater project construction on site. You will monitor compliance with standards, specs, and permits, review submittals and RFIs, and coordinate with engineers, project managers, and field superintendents.

Strong written communication and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 3+ years of field observation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports on municipal water/wastewater project construction.
• Monitors contractor adherence to standards, specs, and drawings.
• Reviews contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and coordinates review and records.
• Observes construction activities for compliance and tracks progress for payments.
• Observes and photographs construction progress and notes deficiencies.
• Maintains field log of daily events and traces daily quantities.
