Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with two years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience in supervising crews and coordinating water/wastewater construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and reporting requirements is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists crew in laying water and sewer lines.
• Plans line construction projects and reads blueprints and cut sheets.
• Ensures safety procedures and PPE are followed according to procedures.
• Maintains paperwork including work orders and logs.
• On-call duty with the water department for after-hours issues.
