Job summary

HDR is seeking a Construction Administration Intern for the North Carolina Water group. You will assist with onsite inspection, materials testing coordination, and progress documentation across multiple NC sites.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in Construction Management or related Engineering programs and bring strong communication, detail-orientation, and teamwork. Local candidates preferred for field-based work and potential outdoor duties.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in BS/MS in Construction Management or related Engineering field.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Interest and experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Coursework in construction management or construction engineering preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onsite construction inspection for contract compliance.
• Construction materials testing coordination and oversight.
• Construction progress documentation.
• Shop drawing review.
• Coordination of Job Site Hazard Analysis.
• Preparation and coordination of Owner’s facility documentation.
