Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater/Water Resources Intern/Co-Op to join HDR’s North Carolina Water Business Group. Based in Charlotte, Raleigh, Winston‑Salem, or Asheville, you’ll gain hands-on experience on water infrastructure projects through planning, design, and construction phases.

You will collaborate with civil engineers and other professionals, perform analyses, draft memos, and assist in maintaining project schedules.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in undergrad or grad Engineering program.
• coursework in water/wastewater topics or related fields.
• Familiarity with modeling software and MS Office; AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
• Prepare reports and technical memos.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and assist in scheduling and budgeting.
