Job summary

HDR, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Water/Wastewater/Water Resources Intern/Co-Op to join our Water Business Group. The role offers hands-on experience on real water infrastructure projects, with exposure to planning, design and construction phases.

You'll collaborate with civil engineers, utility staff and technical professionals to perform analyses, prepare reports, and assist with schedules and budgets while adhering to HDR's quality standards in a dynamic consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineers and technical staff across disciplines to perform analyses and prepare reports.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and assist in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Produce documentation in accordance with HDR's quality standards.
• Participate in periodic client interaction and field inspection as needed.
