Water Works Engineers seeks a Civil / Environmental Engineer to join our Western U.S. team, focusing on municipal water, wastewater and recycled water infrastructure projects.

Based in Southern California, you will collaborate with engineers, designers and project managers to deliver design-ready packages and support permitting, modeling and construction activities. Ideal candidates bring a PE license, strong communication, and versatility across treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Current PE license; California PE preferred.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater infrastructure.
• Design experience in water/wastewater facilities, pipelines, pump stations.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering planning and design for water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations and evaluate design alternatives for system components.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver complete engineering solutions.
• Provide construction-phase support and field observations.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with project management as needed.
• Engage in client meetings and site visits to progress projects.
