Job summary

Water Works Engineers is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our team in California. Based in Los Angeles, San Diego, or Roseville offices, you will design and deliver municipal water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure across the Western U.S.

You will lead design tasks, mentor staff, coordinate disciplines, and support project management. A CA-registered PE is preferred; relocation and travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Current PE license required; California PE registration strongly preferred.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for water/wastewater projects as appropriate.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver complete solutions.
• Provide construction-phase support and review contractor submittals.
• Mentor junior staff and support project management activities.
