Job summary

Water Works Engineers seeks a Civil/Environmental Engineer to help plan, design, and deliver municipal water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure across the Western U.S. You may work from Los Angeles, San Diego, or Roseville offices, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license; California registration preferred.
• Experience with municipal water/wastewater projects and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and design for water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure.
• Prepare calculations and evaluate design options for hydraulic and treatment systems.
• Coordinate with multiple disciplines to deliver complete, constructible designs.
• Provide construction-phase support and QA/QC on deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and supervise design work as needed.
• Engage with clients, attend site visits, and collaborate across WWE offices.
