CPL is seeking a Civil Engineer I focused on Water & Wastewater in New York. You will design water distribution, treatment facilities, sewer systems, and pump stations while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on municipal, industrial, and commercial projects.

The role requires at least four years of experience and a PE license. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and Hydro/Wastewater software is essential; strong communication and project management skills are needed.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required with minimum four years of relevant experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit or equivalent and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Develop designs for water and wastewater projects including pumps, pipes, and treatment facilities
• Collaborate with environmental scientists, surveyors and engineers on municipal, industrial, and commercial projects
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting
• Prepare cost estimates, schedules, and feasibility studies to support planning and execution
• Provide technical support during construction and mentor junior team members
• Review designs and drawings to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
• Maintain relationships with clients through regular updates and innovative, cost-effective solutions
• Oversee work by engineering designers or interns
