A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a Civil Engineer – Water/Wastewater Engineering to join our Rockville, MD team.

You will contribute to planning, design, and implementation of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water projects while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or related Engineering field.
• EIT certification required.
• 3+ years of experience in planning, design and construction of water distribution and sewer systems.
• Experience with plans, specifications and cost estimates for water/sewer projects for public agencies.
• Experience with project permitting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; OpenRoads Designer is a plus.
• Experience with water and/or sewer modeling is a plus.
• Experience in designing pumping, treatment and storage facilities is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Prepare engineering design files, specifications, cost estimates, models, and reports for water/sewer projects.
• Coordinate work of multiple engineering disciplines and subconsultants.
• Assist with client relationship building and marketing efforts.
• Represent AMT at professional association events.
• Support engineering staff in the preparation of construction documents.
