Job summary

Kimley-Horn in Fort Worth, TX is seeking engineering graduates with 1+ years of experience to join our Water/Wastewater team. This is not a remote position and offers hands-on training and mentorship within a collaborative environment.

The role requires a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, and strong communication skills to support municipal water and wastewater projects with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm
• ABET-accredited Bachelors or Masters in Civil Engineering
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team

Responsibilities

• Assist design of water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
• Contribute to municipal water and wastewater utilities designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to complete projects.
• Maintain high-quality plan sets and check others' work.
• Perform engineering tasks with training, mentorship, and client exposure.
