Job summary

Halff is looking for a CAD Designer to join their Water & Wastewater team in Tavares, FL. The selected candidate will assist in arranging and designing water and wastewater projects while collaborating closely with engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality design documents.

Preferred applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of CADD experience and have a strong understanding of municipal infrastructure projects. The position offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, PTO, and 401(k) plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CADD Technician/Designer.
• Focus on water and wastewater and/or municipal infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of Water and Wastewater improvement projects.
• Develop or oversee the development of detailed drawings and plans.
• Work as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a PE.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior CADD Technicians.
• Participate in meetings and site visits to understand project requirements.
