Job summary

Jacobs seeks a CADD Technician to join the Milwaukee design team, supporting municipal water and wastewater projects. You will develop sketches, 3D models, drawings and construction documents, collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate design deliverables.

The role requires an associate degree in drafting and proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, and related tools, with strong written and verbal communication and a team-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical and computer drafting or similar program.
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, OpenBuildings Designer.
• Experience with water and wastewater systems design drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Create sketches, models, drawings, and construction documents to support municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Collaborate with CAD designers, engineers, PMs, and leadership to develop accurate design models and drawings.
