Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Entry Level CADD Technician in Milwaukee to support municipal water and wastewater design projects. You’ll develop sketches, models, drawings, and construction documents under guidance from an experienced team.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in drafting, 0-2 years CAD experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and OpenBuildings Designer. Hybrid work includes Milwaukee office and remote work two days a week.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in mechanical and computer drafting or similar program.
• 0-2 years of experience with 2D/3D CAD platforms common in infrastructure design and construction.
• Experience with water and wastewater design drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create sketches, models, drawings, and construction documents for municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Collaborate with CAD Designers, Engineers, Project Management and leadership to provide accurate design outputs.
• Apply CAD standards to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables.
