Job summary

Lvi-Associates is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support water and wastewater treatment and utility infrastructure projects in the Herndon, VA area. The role involves assisting with project execution, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and coordination with field teams.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in project engineering or construction management, with a preference for water/wastewater exposure and the ability to read construction drawings and specs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project engineering or construction management.
• Experience with water treatment or utility infrastructure projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with project execution from preconstruction through completion.
• Support budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Track project costs, change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, field crews, and project stakeholders.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
