Assistant Project Manager – Water / Wastewater Construction (Virginia & Southeast Projects)
Location: Virginia (Travel to Project Sites Required)
Position Type: Full-Time
We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join a fast-growing water and wastewater contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across Virginia and the Southeast.
The company currently has approximately 25–28 active projects, with a strong focus on packaged wastewater treatment plants supporting remote data center developments. These are fast-moving, technically challenging projects that require strong coordination between design, field execution, procurement, and commissioning teams.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of construction experience who wants real exposure to multiple active projects and a clear, structured path into long‑term project leadership roles.
The biggest draw here is not just the projects—it’s the career trajectory.
This organization is known for promoting from within and giving Assistant Project Managers a clear path into full Project Manager and senior leadership roles. With 25–28 active projects at any given time, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of builds, clients, and delivery challenges—accelerating your development far faster than a single-project environment.
If you’re looking for a role where you can grow quickly, stay hands‑on with real construction, and build a long‑term career in water infrastructure delivery, this is a strong opportunity.
