Assistant Project Manager – Water / Wastewater Construction (Virginia & Southeast Projects)

Location: Virginia (Travel to Project Sites Required)

Position Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join a fast-growing water and wastewater contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across Virginia and the Southeast.

The company currently has approximately 25–28 active projects, with a strong focus on packaged wastewater treatment plants supporting remote data center developments. These are fast-moving, technically challenging projects that require strong coordination between design, field execution, procurement, and commissioning teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of construction experience who wants real exposure to multiple active projects and a clear, structured path into long‑term project leadership roles.

Systems & Tools

• HCSS is used where required by owners for heavy civil tracking, estimating, and field management
• Procore is used extensively for project management, documentation, and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in construction (project engineering, field operations, or assistant PM roles)
• Experience in water/wastewater, industrial, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active priorities
• Good communication skills and comfort working across field and office teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
