Job summary

West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection is seeking a Technical Analyst Associate in the State Revolving Fund, Engineering Section, located in Charleston. The role focuses on reviewing engineering reports, plans, and specifications for wastewater and water projects, and conducting inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• ABET-accredited alternative degree in Civil, Electrical, Electrical Design, Mechanical, Chemical or Mining Engineering Technology.

Responsibilities

• Review preliminary engineering reports and feasibility for wastewater/water projects.
• Review plans and specifications for constructability and regulatory compliance.
• Perform interim and final inspections and attend project meetings.
• Review agreements between consulting engineers and clients.
• Attend training to stay updated on construction practices and costs.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
