Leslie’s is seeking a Spa Technician to maintain residential and commercial water quality in hot tubs and swim spas, delivering top-level customer service and expert workmanship. You’ll follow company policies, ensure safe driving, and represent Leslie’s with professionalism.

The role requires spa cleaning expertise, chemical knowledge, and the ability to lift heavy equipment while working in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Spa technician experience preferred.
• Knowledge of spa cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Extensive knowledge of spa chemicals.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to operate vehicles to transport materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer’s water by testing and keeping chlorine and pH levels balanced.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning/replacing filters and underwater lighting bulbs.
• Drain and refill hot tubs and swim spas.
• Maintain stocked inventory of equipment, chemicals and supplies.
• Use spa vacuum cleaners to clean the spa floor.
• Check and repair corrosion, cracks and leaks in spa walls/floors.
• Use a telescopic pole with net to remove leaves/debris.
• May perform deliveries as needed.
• Operate Leslie’s company vehicle following best practices.
• Maintain records of activities and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Collaborate with service team to provide excellent customer service.

Job Overview

The maintenance and servicing of clients’ water both residentially and commercially. Interact with customers providing service, recommendations and general guidance. Provide superior customer service along with quality workmanship to every customer. Must maintain the highest standards in customer service, display professional and ethical conduct, and possess sound verbal and written communication abilities. Appearance must be maintained and well-groomed at all times. Must be able to understand and comply with all Company directives and policies inclusive of safe driving and work place habits.

Compensation Range

$20.00 - $25.00 / Hourly. Compensation within range to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge and skills, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer’s water through testing, ensuring appropriate chlorine and pH levels.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as cleaning/replacing filters, bulbs in underwater light fittings, and other necessary preventative tasks.
• Drain/re-filling hot tubs and swim spas.
• Maintain a stocked inventory of equipment/chemicals and all other vital supplies.
• Use spa vacuum cleaners to clean the spa floor.
• Check and repair corrosion, cracks and leaks in the spa walls or floors.
• Use a telescopic pole with net to clean and remove any leaves or debris.
• May be required to perform deliveries as needed.
• Use and demonstrate best business practices with respect to driving, maintaining and operating Leslie’s provided company vehicle.
• Maintain manual or automated records of all activities and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Work with the rest of the service team to provide superior customer service to every Leslie’s customer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a spa technician preferred.
• Knowledge of proper spa cleaning and maintenance methods.
• Extensive knowledge of spa chemicals and their properties.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions.
• Ability to operate vehicles to transport various types of materials and equipment.
