Job summary

Town Of Pecos City is seeking a water and sewer utilities worker to perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance on water distribution and sewer collection systems, in teams or alone, including installing and repairing mains, hydrants, meters, and service lines.

The job requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid Texas Class C driver's license, and preferably one year in water and sewer utility work; OSHA/ trenching knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Texas Class C Driver's License required.
• One year of water and sewer utility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery and load/transport equipment to job sites.
• Install, repair, and test main water and sewer lines, hydrants, meters, and service taps.
• Inspect, maintain, and report defects; follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
