City of Hurst seeks a Water Utilities Dispatcher to monitor the water production system using SCADA, operate Public Works radio communications, and assist with maintenance of water utilities equipment.

The role requires availability for days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays with overtime as needed. A high school diploma and 1–3 years' related experience are preferred; a Texas driver’s license is required.

• Monitors and controls water production via SCADA and maintains records of storage facilities.
• Operates and monitors Public Works radio communications and assists with equipment maintenance.
• Prepares Water Works Operations Reports for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
• Enters data for the Public Works work order system and ensures FCC compliance.
• Responds to emergency calls and dispatches appropriate personnel as required.
• Maintains clocked logs of City vehicles and supports rotating shifts for 24/7 coverage.
• Performs housekeeping and other related duties as assigned.
