Job summary

Rochester Sand and Gravel is seeking a Water Truck Driver to join our construction team in Rochester, MN. The role requires safe operation of water trucks (tandem/tri/quad-axle), delivering water for dust control, cleaning equipment, and occasionally operating heavy equipment.

A valid CDL with tanker endorsement and a current DOT medical card are required. This full-time seasonal position involves long days and overtime, with benefits including medical, dental and a pension plan through the

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to keep time and material records.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
• Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
• Knowledge of soils, sand and aggregate classification to help produce 'spec' material through the crushing operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate water trucks (tandem, tri, or quad-axle) safely and efficiently.
• Deliver water for dust control and clean equipment as needed.
• Occasionally operate heavy equipment when required.
