Job summary

Rochester Sand and Gravel is seeking a Water Truck Driver to join our construction team in Rochester, MN. The role requires safe operation of water trucks (tandem/tri/quad-axle), delivering water for dust control, cleaning equipment, and occasionally operating heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to keep time and material records.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction.
• Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
• Knowledge of weight requirements of loads leaving the pit.
• Knowledge of soils, sand and aggregate classification to help produce 'spec' material through the crushing operation.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified Water Truck Driver to join our innovative construction team! This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of commercial motor vehicles including but not limited to: water trucks (tandem, tri, or quad-axle). Water truck drivers will deliver water for dust control, clean off equipment using water and operate heavy equipment when necessary. Driver will hold a valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with tanker endorsement and have a current DOT Physical Card (Fed Med Card).

This position is full-time seasonal and requires long workdays and overtime.
