Job summary

Capital Paving is seeking a Class A CDL Water Truck Driver in Springfield, MO to support paving crews. Responsibilities include operating a water truck for dust control and safety, loading and transporting water, and maintaining logbooks.

Hazmat endorsement and a clean driving record are required; overtime, travel, and background checks are part of the role. Prior construction experience is preferred; opportunities for overtime, nights, and weekends exist to meet project schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A with Hazmat endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience operating a water truck or driving in construction preferred.
• Able to safely operate heavy equipment on active job sites.
• Punctual with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication with crews and supervisors.
• Willing to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed.
• Willing to travel and work out of town when required.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

Capital Paving is seeking Class A CDL Water Truck Drivers for our commercial paving crews in the Springfield, MO area. The primary responsibility of this role is operating a water truck to support paving operations, including dust control, soil conditioning, and maintaining safe job site conditions. Successful candidates should have a Hazmat endorsement and a clean driving record. Prior experience in construction or water truck operation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck to support paving crews with dust control, compaction, and job site safety.
• Safely load, transport, and distribute water as directed at job sites.
• Communicate regularly with dispatcher, supervisors, and crew members.
• Ensure a safe work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures.
