Job summary

Buckman is seeking a sales-focused professional to drive profitable growth and strengthen customer relationships within Illinois water treatment accounts. You will manage existing business, identify opportunities, and support customers in improving performance and compliance.

Serving as the primary commercial contact, you will align with cross-functional teams to ensure financial and operational performance supports Buckman objectives. Travel up to 60% across IL region is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or any Engineering area or Business Administration
• Job Experience: 4 - 6 years
• Knowledge: Industrial water and wastewater processes
• Experience: Sales or application of chemical products in industry
• Customer focus and relationship building skills

Responsibilities

• Drive year-over-year revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling.
• Identify and commercialize new applications within existing and new customers.
• Maintain relationships to support long-term retention.
• Report sales forecasts using Connected Planning and manage opportunities in Dynamics.
• Monitor pipeline health and time spent at each stage.
• Coordinate price adjustments per pricing plan.
• Build strategic account development and share of wallet across region.
• Communicate effectively with customers and distributors to manage orders.
