Thatcher Company is seeking a Director of R&D Chemistry - Water Treatment to lead new product development and process optimization at its Salt Lake City headquarters. You will guide cross-functional teams in creating market-ready chemistries and technologies for water treatment applications.

The role requires advanced chemistry degrees with significant industrial R&D experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex results clearly to technical and non-technical

Formación

• PhD in Chemistry with at least 2 years of industrial R&D experience.
• MS in Chemistry with at least 5 years of industrial R&D experience.
• BS in Chemistry with at least 9 years of industrial R&D experience.
• Experience with product development and characterization, preferably water treatment.
• Experience with standard wet chemistry techniques and complex analytical instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of new products/technologies for the Water Treatment Market.
• Develop manufacturing processes for new products and optimize existing processes for the water treatment division.
• Support scale-up and launch of new products and validate specifications and methods.
• Improve the existing water treatment product line and optimize related manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to understand needs and develop technical solutions.
• Manage multiple projects and communicate status through reports and presentations.
• Provide storage and shelf-life recommendations supported by testing.
