Thatcher Company LLC seeks a Chemical Process/Project Engineer III to join our Salt Lake City engineering team. You will provide process engineering and technical support to plant operations, capital projects, and cross-functional teams, driving process improvements and innovative solutions.

You will work with operations and business teams to identify opportunities, develop documentation, and manage projects from design through startup, while upholding safety and process safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering required.
• 8+ years of experience in a process facility.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

• Promote understanding and application of safety practices.
• Optimize plant production and efficiency through improvements and managing process constraints.
• Collaborate with operations and manufacturing experts to resolve technical issues.
• Develop and maintain process documentation (P&IDs, material balances, equipment datasheets).
• Contribute to process safety and environmental performance via PHA, MOC, and incident investigations.
• Manage capital projects from design through startup.
