Job summary

Brown and Caldwell, Inc. seeks a Carolina's Area Water Treatment Leader to grow our drinking water practice and deliver exceptional service for established drinking water and reuse clients in the Carolina region.

This leader will coordinate with National Practice Leaders and local teams to differentiate technically and drive pursuit success while guiding project delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep environmental engineering expertise, strong leadership, and a proactive, detail‑oriented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field.
• PE licensure is required.
• Minimum 15 years of related environmental engineering experience.
• Water treatment design experience preferred (10+ years).
• Minimum 5 years in project management and client service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex analyses and engineering design efforts.
• Prepare, review, and approve advanced technical reports and engineering deliverables.
• Develop environmental protection systems and infrastructure for complex projects.
• Coordinate growth activities related to drinking water and reuse in the Carolina's area.
• Inform development of business plans and priorities with Area Managers, Local Leaders, and CSMs.
• Collaborate with National Practice and Innovation Leaders to connect differentiators and R&D.
• Act as sales leader for strategic pursuits or CSM for key clients in the area.
• Mentor less experienced team members to develop their skills.
