Job summary

Aquatech in Pasadena, TX is seeking a PLC HMI Controls Technician for our mobile water service center. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, focusing on troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of PLCs, HMIs, and related instrumentation at a water treatment facility.

The ideal candidate will have experience with ion exchange, membrane processes, and filtration, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Technical School Degree preferred.
• Water treatment facility experience preferred, especially in ion exchange, membrane processes, and filtration.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical equipment such as motors, VFDs, and valves.
• Perform continuity, Megger, or ground fault testing.
• Maintain Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI for machine-mounted controls.
• Calibrate instruments, analyzers, and valve positioners.
• Coordinate with subcontractors for outside work.
• Lead preventative maintenance on electrical components and assets.
• Maintain housekeeping and generate calibration/maintenance reports.
