Job summary

Presidio Trust seeks a Water Treatment Plant Supervisor to lead all operations for its potable water system in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will oversee treatment facilities, ensure regulatory compliance, and guide capital projects and asset management with a focus on reliability and water quality.

The role reports to the Utilities Manager and requires certifications (T3/D3, cross-connection) and at least five years in public water systems, including supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• California state water treatment and distribution certifications required.
• Minimum five years in public water systems with leadership experience.
• Experience supervising personnel and managing regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations and maintenance of water treatment and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state drinking water regs.
• Develop budgets and manage consultants and vendors.
• Lead safety, training, and performance development activities.
• Coordinate with regulators, engineers, and internal teams.
