Job summary

Presidio Trust seeks a Water Treatment Plant Supervisor to lead its Utilities Department in managing drinking water treatment and distribution systems in the San Francisco Bay Area. Qualifications

• California State Water Treatment Operator Certificate (T3 or higher).
• California State Water Distribution Operator Certificate (D3 or higher).
• Certified AWWA Cross-Connection Specialist.
• Five years of progressively responsible public water treatment and distribution operations experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to analyze operational and financial data to support decision-making.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and budget proposals.
• Ability to manage consultant and contractor performance.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities.
• Experience building collaborative relationships with regulators, stakeholders, and internal departments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, regulatory agencies and the public.
• Ability to promote innovation and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage operation and maintenance of water treatment plant and distribution network.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local drinking water regulations.
• Oversee Water Quality Monitoring Program and regulatory reporting.
• Develop operational strategies to improve reliability, efficiency, and water quality.
• Lead and develop Water Treatment and Distribution personnel.
• Manage asset inventories, maintenance programs, and capital renewal planning.
• Coordinate with Engineering on infrastructure projects.
• Develop and administer annual operating budgets and manage contractors.
• Lead implementation of GIS, SCADA, AMI, and CMMS systems.
