Story Construction, a 100% employee-owned general contractor based in Ames, IA, seeks a Superintendent to oversee Water Treatment and Waste Water Treatment Plant projects in Central Iowa. You will lead field teams, manage on-site operations, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence across projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading Water Treatment and/or Waste Water Treatment Plant projects as a Superintendent.
• Experience leading self-perform crews.
• Experience leading projects of $10M+ value.

Responsibilities

• Lead foremen and crews through mentoring, training, coaching and reviews.
• Oversee day-to-day onsite management and project scheduling.
• Plan, cost-trace, and monitor progress and resources.
• Order materials, manage inventory and safety compliance.
